These terms apply when you use thetabernanthe.org or contact The Tabernanthe by phone, text message or email. By using the site or contacting us, you agree to them.
Who we are
The Tabernanthe is a religious nonprofit organization based in California. We are not a medical provider, a clinic or a treatment facility. We connect people with independent partner clinics and providers, and we offer education and aftercare support. Those providers are independent from us and are responsible for their own care.
No medical advice
The information on this site and in our messages is for general education. It is not medical advice, and it does not replace advice from your own doctor. Talk with a qualified medical professional about your health and any treatment you are considering. If you are in an emergency, call 911. If you are thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988.
Using the site
You must be 18 or older to use our services. Please give us accurate information when you contact us or fill out a form. Do not use the site in a way that is unlawful or that could damage it or interfere with other people’s use of it.
Contributions and gifts
Contributions made through this site are voluntary gifts to The Tabernanthe. They are not payment for medical treatment.
Text messaging terms
When you give us your mobile number and contact us, you agree that we may text you about your inquiry, including replies to your questions, scheduling and logistics. We send these texts through Quo, our business phone service. We do not send marketing texts without your separate permission. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of getting help from us.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You can also email info@thetabernanthe.org. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text messages are not private, so please keep detailed health information out of them.
See our Privacy Policy for how we use and protect your information, including your mobile number. We do not sell mobile numbers or text messaging consent, and we do not share them with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
